High-quality audio is essential. Always try to record and master your music at the highest possible resolution. Here's more information about sample rates, bit depths, and file formats that we accept.
We can't accept MP3s, only the formats listed below. We strongly recommend providing 24 bit files and prefer 24 bit/96 kHz, which will mean we can supply music services that specialise in high-resolution audio.
If your files are Apple Digital Masters, let us know the email address of your approved mastering engineer.
We support Dolby Atmos audio and can export it to Apple Music. Get in touch for more information.

Audio legal rules
Reminder: An audio (or video) file is mandatory to create a release.
Only submit an audio file to Allot Lines as owner as a rightsowner or licensee of the Master recording.
The intellectual property belongs to third parties. No store accepts the mention of a third party's intellectual property. Do not mention any third party’s intellectual property without prior authorization from their owner.
Blacklisted artists/releases. To avoid infringement, Allot Lines’s system automatically checks the artist name in the top artists list.
Curated artist. A "curated artist" refers to an artist who has a sufficient number of songs or catalogues available in stores. If stores and/or Allot Lines identify the artist or the audio as a "curated artist" or "cover version", Allot Lines may prevent delivery to certain stores.
Public Domain. According to local laws or rules and to store policies, Allot Lines may reject "public domain content." For instance, in France, releases made prior to 1965 (for 2021) fall under the "public domain" category and are not eligible for delivery to Apple and Spotify.
Note: In cases of masters' ownership, exceptions may apply.
