Why is my release showing as "Delivered" but not appearing on Meta, TikTok, or Content ID?

Sometimes your release shows Delivered but does not appear on Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, YouTube Content ID, or SoundCloud Content ID. Here are the most common reasons:

Possible Reasons

  1. Delivery options not selected
During the distribution setup, you may have forgotten to select Meta Rights Manager, TikTok, YouTube Content ID, or SoundCloud Content ID. Even if the release status is “Delivered,” it won’t appear on these platforms unless selected.
  2. No Content ID registration
To make your music available via Content ID systems, you must have an approved Content ID registration with Allot Lines. Register Content ID here: https://allotlines.com/digital-rights-management/content-id-register/

  3. Content ID application rejected
If your application for Content ID was rejected, your tracks will not appear on Content ID platforms until re-approved.

How to Fix It

  • Check your delivery options
Go back to your distribution settings and make sure Meta Rights Manager, TikTok, YouTube Content ID, and SoundCloud Content ID are selected. Save and resubmit your distribution request. Our QC team will then review and deliver to the selected platforms.

  • Notify us of updates
If you update your delivery options after submitting, send us an email so we can process the changes correctly.

  • Register for Content ID
If you haven’t yet, complete the Content ID registration form provided by Allot Lines.

  • Reapply if rejected
If your previous request was denied, you can reapply once you meet the requirements (original content, ownership proof, etc.).

  • Important Notes

  • Meta, TikTok, and Content ID platforms only accept original, exclusive content.

  • Covers, unofficial karaoke tracks, bootleg remixes, or songs containing unlicensed samples will be rejected.

  • In addition

Our team is also proactive in finding and enabling Content ID for accounts and content that Allot Lines feels are relevant and have potential.

We won't deliver some music to content ID services. Meta, TikTok, and YouTube's content identification services only accept original, exclusively owned, and unique recordings. They do not allow:

    • Non-exclusively owned tracks or samples
    • Public domain recordings
    • Ambient sound or noise tracks
    • Karaoke or soundalike versions
    • Slowed, lofi, sped up or other unofficial remixes
    • Tracks that contain multiple recordings
    • Classical recordings of works in the public domain

We will remove tracks that we believe do not meet these rules.
