Spotify now applies a penalty fee for artificial streaming

Spotify will start levying a penalty fee of 50 USD per month per track if they conclude that more than 90% of its streams were generated artificially. This will apply for the reporting of streaming in April onwards. We will pass on any penalty fees that are applied to your releases.
