Spotify for Artists is an interface that gives artists and labels more control over their performance and image on Spotify.
It allows artists to customize their artist picture and header, to claim their profile (giving them the “verified” blue check mark) and to add-in a bio.
Through this platform, Labels can also follow their artists' statistics and presence in the store, enabling them to better assess their audience and help their artists connect with their followers in the best way.
Getting Access to Spotify for Artists

If you're an Artists and managers
- Ask your artist team to invite you
- Claim an artist profile
Joining an artist team before your first release?
Ask your label or distributor for your artist link or URI. It'll start spotify.com/artist or spotify:artist.
Paste your artist link or URI at the Which artist team is it? page when submitting your access request.
If you're a Labels and distributors
Since July 2020, Spotify has discontinued the Spotify Analytics platform, which used to give Labels access to their artists' performance statistics on Spotify. To replace this tool, they have created a Label-oriented access to Spotify for Artists, which enables artists and their team to work together on getting the most out of Spotify.
To get a Label access to Spotify for Artists, you need to:
- Join or create a label team If you create a label team, you’ll need to share some example tracks or albums owned by your company.
or
- Ask an admin to invite you If a member of your team already has admin access to Spotify for Artists, they can send you an invite to join. You can also ask the artist or manager to invite you.
Once your access is created, you can use the guides below (according to your access level) for having an overview of the features of the tool.
