Spotify - Canvas

Spotify Canvas is a tool that allows artists to create an 8-second vertical visual loop that will play alongside their track on Spotify. With Spotify Canvas, you have more space to tell your story, promote your work, and have fans connect with you in new ways.

You can access Spotify Canvas provided you've claimed your profile on Spotify for Artists. Once you have access to Spotify for Artists you can begin utilizing the Canvas feature on either the Spotify for Artists app or desktop.

Important: You must have at least one release delivered to Spotify through Allot Lines to receive access to Spotify Canvas.

Be sure any Canvas videos you create are up to Spotify's specs below:

• Ratio: 9:16
• Height: At least 720px
• Length: 3 secs - 8 secs
• File Format MP4 or JPG only
• No hateful, abusive, pornographic, threatening, or obscene content
• Canvas should not be used to sell anything or be overly promotional
• You must own the content you upload or obtain the legal permissions to use any content you don't

• What is Canvas?

Canvas is an eight-second looping visual in the Now Playing view in the iOS and Android app. When a track has Canvas enabled, a user can see the visualizer when they play the track on Spotify as an alternative to the static release cover art. Canvas beta is limited to a set of artists.
