We are updating our policies to better protect catalogs and boost revenue on YouTube and their Content ID platform. Going forward, we won’t be Allowlisting individual artist channels or Third Party channels. That means the videos containing your recordings will include advertising when they appear on those channels, and the revenue generated will be accounted to you monthly.
You can request that a video be unclaimed on a product-by-product basis by reaching out to the Support Team at: [email protected].
In some instances, we will support opting your catalog out of Content ID completely. Doing so means you’ll generate no revenue from the platform. Please reach out if that’s something you’d like to explore.
We understand our revised way of working has an impact on how your channel is managed, and we advise you to review the benefits outlined by YouTube themselves.
