Why can’t I find my music on Instagram Stories?

As a result of our deliveries of your recordings to Facebook, your music will also be available in the Instagram Stories 'Music' feature as standard. Your releases should be searchable on IG Stories from your release day.

If you’re having trouble locating your release on Instagram Stories, first try entering your search terms in this order to search for your track: ‘Track Title Artist Name’. Instagram’s search tool can require specific search parameters to populate the track you’re after.

If you’ve attempted the above and still cannot locate your release, it’s possible one of the following issues is at play:

• If your release appears on a wider body of work (EP or album), IG may be blocking the single as it’s recognized it exists on an unreleased work. If the track you’re looking for appears on a different unreleased product, please get in touch with us via the Contact Us page on your Workstation with the UPCs of the live release & the unreleased product and we can resolve the issue for you.
  
• Publishing clearance may be resulting in your release being hidden currently. In the United States, most tracks generally must be cleared on the publishing side of things before Instagram can make them live. Unfortunately, this isn’t something we can assist with. You should get in touch with your publisher if you think this issue may be affecting your release on Instagram.
